Lil-Shaam
What do the words "Lil Shaam" mean? It's the name of my Rottweiler. It's actually the name of a proud culture.
In Arabic, "Lil-Shaam" (ليل الشام) could be interpreted as "the night of Syria" or "the evening of Syria." "Lil" means "night" or "evening," and "Shaam" refers to the historical region that encompasses modern-day Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine. So, together it conveys a sense of the evening or night associated with the region of Shaam.
The Shaam region, also spelled Sham or Bilad al-Sham in Arabic, historically refers to the area encompassing modern-day Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, and Palestine. It is a culturally rich and historically significant region in the Middle East.
The term "Shaam" has been used for many centuries, dating back to ancient times. It has been referenced in historical texts, poetry, and literature throughout the centuries, indicating its long-standing significance in the region. Its usage can be traced back to at least the pre-Islamic era and has continued to be used up to the present day.
She is my second pair of eyes seeing through the clouds.
She is my second pair of ears that hear through the wind.
When am wrong, she is glad to forgive me.
When I'm angry she fools to make me smile.
When I am happy, her joy knows no bounds.
When I'm stupid, she doesn't notice it.
When I'm lucky, she's proud of me.
Without her, I'm just an ordinary person.
With her i am all mighty.
She is the absolute faithfulness.
With her I enjoy peace and calm.
With her I became aware of what I used to be ignorant of.
Her head upon my knees can heal my wounds and most of all the daily dose of idiocy in “news” has no effect on me.
Her presence is a protection.
She is a “No-Nonsence”-Rottweiler.
She's a blessing. You are fortunate!
